When Appointier is the wrong tool
Appointier runs your own bookings, clients and payments. Some businesses need something else.
You want a marketplace to send you new clients
Appointier has no consumer marketplace. Clients find you through your own site, your booking link, Google and social profiles.
Look at instead: Fresha, Booksy or Vagaro, which list you in their apps and charge a fee on clients they send.
You need it to be free forever
Appointier is a paid subscription after the trial. We do not run a free plan funded by commission or advertising.
Look at instead: A free calendar tool, or a marketplace that charges per new client instead of per month.
You run a large franchise that needs single sign-on today
Appointier handles many locations, but SAML single sign-on, custom contracts and a dedicated account team are not available yet.
Look at instead: Enterprise suites such as Zenoti or Mindbody.
You only run classes and memberships
Appointier handles classes, but it is built around one-to-one appointments. A studio that sells only class passes will use a fraction of it.
Look at instead: Studio software such as Mindbody, Momence or Glofox.
You bill insurers directly
Appointier keeps clinical notes and takes card payments, but it does not submit insurance claims.
Look at instead: Practice software with claims built in, such as Jane or SimplePractice.
